I grew up fishing, and still fish with my husband and kids during the summer. Sometimes we go in our local area, but generally, we wait until our annual trip to Maine, where my husband's family lives on a lake. It's nice to catch a fish, or more...but, my main reason is just to enjoy the beauty of nature and the outdoors;) Jan

Lovely shots, very serene.

I am not a fishing person. Mainly because I never know what sort of heels to wear for the occasion ;)

Great pictures. There is nothing like fishing. It has been years since I have went. Like you we use to go with our grandparents to Lake Erie all of the time.Back then--- too many years to mention--- we could catch stringers full.Enjoying it with family I think was what really made it special.
